Anyway you can probably still enter there by pretending being a bad guy. You won’t have to pretend anymore after that.

Recent news shows how North Korea test-fired missiles while people there have troubles finding food. North Korea’s military ideal is interesting, as recently a country had to be attacked to attack back in order no not hurt its image.
It seems North Korea couldn’t care less, and continue hurting its image, people and probably other things. They did a great job scaring major governements but I think they can do better… Still I’m not going to cover it today.
Anyway no need to talk about North Korea firing missiles, unless those can reach Washington.

At the same time, in USA, they are counting their nuclear “marbles” to make sure nobody tried to take some of those. That’s something any kid would do if they found their marble bag open, and as you could say, there’s no smoke without fire.
They already know there’s more than the nuclear fuse triggers they sent to Taiwan 2 years ago, but in 60 days, will still announce that nothing else is missing and that the world is safe with America.

Next, America’s people is worried about oil price whnich reached $108. Isn’t it sad? Just try to stop using oil… Oh and the rise is due to something which happened in Iraq… can you believe it to be an accident?

If you played Assassin’s Creed, learning about DNA matching crusades in Lebanon won’t make you suspicious. It’s no longer suspicion because you know the evil plot planned by some underground organisation. And you know all people with this DNA will be killed. Well, or maybe not, it depends…

All those subjects are nothing against today’s topic you already know because you saw this article’s title…

Geert Wilders, this name became quite famous a while ago, and there’s still a lot going on about this guy.

As you can see on his picture (on the BBC website, as I’m too lazy to get the image and ask for authorization), he doesn’t look like someone nice (this usually happens if you let people take pictures of you while you don’t smile, many politicals just smile all the time, even when sleeping, it makes them look almost human).

This guy understood that religion isn’t needed for real men. Think for yourself as this is the only way you’ll think right. Or maybe not. Anyway…

You can check his film out, and see that it’s not as interesting as you may think first. It’s just that this movie was made especially to be flamed, so everyone is having fun flaming it.

Still, any text is understood by the people applying it. There is always extreme people who just go on and blame holy texts for their actions. However that’s not the real meaning beind those. Being stoned is just outdated.

Well, more recently, BBC reported about videogames rating, and how rating of video-games should be changed…

So, before anyone tries to tie the two stories together I’ll clarify some parts (okay, I’m probably already too late). Anyway…

As you may also have noticed, the two articles are both speaking about how parental control may be the original cause of both problems.

Parental control, this is one important subject people don’t like to talk about. Why? Because most parents, who are supposed to be role models for their children are less and less apt to act as supposed.

Most people think it’s because of video-games’ influence on the children. They become violent, don’t care about other people, and may end doing some really bad things (like kick-killing a poor goth girl).

Well, I don’t have any scientific analysis of the problem, however I’ll give you a piece of my mind, something I just imagined.

Video-games are not only played by youngsters, you know. Did anyone do a survey on what is the influence of video-games parents are playing on their children?

What if…

Let’s assume a few facts.

Children are initially a lot like a blank book. They learn by understanding their surrounding and reproducing. Now how is a young boy supposed to understand that his dad playing a game like GTA is different from his in-game dad?
The boy will most likely misunderstand his dad saying “Today I killed 30 people while driving, I was trying to finish this mission as fast as possible”…

Now, let’s suppose the next day, the young boy want to be the best one in class, if he remembered, he might end saying something close to “My dad is so cool, he killed 30 people yesterday”. He’ll be proud of something he doesn’t really nor care about.

Now let’s see see what might think a boy who just heared that…

“Hey, that’s so cool, I wish my dad could kill a dozen of people too so I can brag about it”

Of course I’m talking about this kind of example, but anything else might end up causing the same kind of problem. For example TV news where you see black people fighting and killing each other in Africa, arab people from Gaza getting killed…
Basically anything can be misunderstood by a child…

Now the main problem is not the child braging about his dad, or the child misunderstanding stuff, it’s more about how immature parents are.

As I see things, game ratings should also apply to parents who have children this age, or people who live with children this age. Playing games is a way to escape reality, and helps you care less about it. However there’s just no way you’re supposed to escape your duty of educating your children.

So, forget about games, and look at what’s in front of you. Even if your children seems OK, there’s always stuff you won’t see, and when you see something because it’s not possible to ignore it anymore, it’s usually too late.

Children will test you, to see how far a real human may go. A child shouting to his father “Yeah! Kill him!! KILL HIM!!!” while he’s playing a game is usually a child who’s still missing the understanding of some limits in life.

Life is not easy. If your children don’t understand that and takes everything for granted, you’ll end with problems like recent ones.

Just a final note : I saw my first porn movie while I was 11, at a friend’s place whose father didn’t care a bit (he was watching too). I found it to be quite boring, however I envied a bit his freedom I didn’t have.
I grew without the “freedom” others may had, however today I work daily, get enough money to buy whatever I want, and live quite happily. I’ve been able to go through hard times thanks to the education I got.

Oh, and don’t blame your problems on games, blame it on yourself.

I’ll try to reply to this interesting question in an interesting attempt to show how easily can a politician discredit himself/herself.

First, take a country where people are not really used to know what happens outside their country. Yes, United States of America is a good choice, given it’s a know fact that most people there have a funny way to understand world’s geography.

Now, let’s take at random some politician from this country (yeah, this process is totally random… or maybe not?) and see what it recently told (yeah, from now on, I’ll use it to refer at people from politic mass).

So, it told about how it was attacked by some siper when arriving in Bosnia, at Tuzia.

Let’s quote a bit thanks to the BBC…

“I remember landing under sniper fire,” it said.

“There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.

“But it was a moment of great pride for me.”

So, I guess that even without looking at the BBC article you guessed what it takes to be a good politician…

Yeah, right, you need to be able to tell lies the size of a country. Don’t worry, even if someone finds out it’s a lie, you can easily save yourself like that :

“I did mis-speak the other day. You know this has been a very long campaign laughs so occasionally I am a human being like everybody else.”

So yeah, it didn’t lie, it mis-spoke …

What it mis-something was to mistake its own country’s video cameras as something else, and think nobody in USA would know about what really happened.

Now I guess most human beings would not, even after a very long campaign, take pride in something that never happened.
I feel sorry for the little girl who had to read a poem this day at the airport. And I feel sorry for all the people who felt sorry as it told this blatant lie.

Don’t be so arrogant as to think a sniper may want you dead, and don’t be so arrogant as to compare yourself to human beings.

Now, return to your current occupation to try to become the main puppet of this world-sized puppet show called politics. Just try to remember that human beings may be forgiving, but sometimes simply do not want.
