Quantum theory and the future

Just some thoughts I’m posting here for future reference.

Reading a lot about Quantum theory (including some recent developments) I’ve come to wonder if the way time works is not similar to gravity. A specific future event with enough mass to attract us all toward it, influencing our vision of time as something linear in the same way someone falling feels there is no way to go up, only down. Going sideway may affect falling speed.

Are we aiming at a given state?
